How the list is worked out
Clothes are counted per day: a top for each day, underwear and socks for each day plus a spare, trousers or a skirt for every three days and sleepwear for every four nights. Counting stops at a week of clothes (five days for carry-on only), because past that point one wash weighs less than a bigger bag. The list then adds travel wash and says how many days it covers; the laundry planner works out exact numbers for your wash days.
Weather adds layers: a coat, thermals and gloves for cold or snow, a waterproof for rain, shorts and a sun hat for heat. Each plan adds its own group, such as beach towels, hiking socks or work outfits. Kids get a per-child list with spare outfits. For a baby, nappies are counted from the number a day you type in, for the journey and the first three days.
Tick items as they go in the bag. Ticks and your extra items are saved in this browser only, so you can close the page and carry on later. Copy the list into a notes app or print it.
